Marine 1 and 9 were both built with a special 12 inch connection to supply the Neptune system, each boat has four hydrant stations, two forward, two aft each is fed by a 14 inch pipe, each station has an eight inch discharge with a reducer and a 6 inch stortz fitting, four three inch discharges, and a FFS 600LB 2000 gpm monitor on a six inch line. The aft stations can supply foam and the port aft station has in addition a 12 inch Victaulic connection for the Neptune system. Each boat also has twelve fog and straight stream monitors seven of which are foam capable. There is a FFS 3600 17,000 gpm monitor on an 18 inch line at the bow and six FFS 1200 dual barrel 5200 gpm / 1300 foam solution gpm monitors on 8 inch lines, two on the forward upper deck, two aft of the wheel house, two aft of the upper deck. Both boats also have a custom Allied Marine Systems Crane that has a remotely controlled 1500 gpm Water / Foam monitor with a water throw of 260 feet and a foam capacity of 90 gpm, it is fed by a four inch telescoping waterway that has to be supplied by a hose line from one of the hydrants. The crane also has a video camera mounted under the crane basket. The firefighting Equiptment room on the main deck has hose beds for - 20 lengths of 1 3/4 (1,000 ft), 40 Lengths of 2 1/2 (2,000 ft), 15 lengths of 3 1/2 (750 ft), 4 lengths of LDH 6 Inch with Stortz fittings (100 ft)
