First due company, heavy fire showing, transmit the second on Box 2538, orders of first due companies. 2 1/2 3 story HEAVY fire showing on all floors.
 
Fire was knocked but District ordered a third. There is heavy over hauling, this was a 2.5 3 story, heavy fire showing on arrival. First due asked for the second.

Several things, this was L-29's first fire with their new rig, a 2013 KME 109'. On the second film in the beginning you can hear the 4th alarm being transmitted. TL-10 transmitted the second alarm upon arrival.

In that second and third video mainly the second, did they have a 2 1/2 stretched and operating all the way up to the bucket before the LDH was connected for the pre piped water way. Is this standard practice for boston, shouldn't they have a spot to connect a hand line at the bucket with out running it up the ladder ??

  If you mean a waterway similar to the master stream piped waterway on a TL it would not work well since just like the regular waterway the line could not be shut down at the nozzle unless the boom was never retracted otherwise the seals would blow as the water compresses....when TLs were new to the FDNY this was quickly found out when a shutoff was placed in the bucket end of the prepiped line .....it should only be shut off at the source not at the nozzle end.

It's generally quite difficult to figure out a response for a four alarm fire in Boston unless you know the city extremely well and what companies cover which houses, otherwise you're wasting your time guessing.
