I don't know Ray, but I think you just set it off so they will be leading the pack in Runs & Workers for June & July. ;)

I carefully waited until after the 1st of June to ask, Tom . . . didn't want to scotch it. But no multiples in either April or May . . . I think that's unusual.

bronx "gentlemen" get to the fire and attack it aggressively and professionally thus not letting it get to a 2nd alarm:)

To my knowledge Willy D they responded but didn't operate as they tide was out so they couldn't reach the scene

Thanks for posting, Bill.

Maybe it was just me, but the Bronx seemed slower than normal last month.

Emmett, "fdny1075k", you can always refer back to the previous pages to get the numbers for each month, since this was started back in January, 2014. And just to add, there are other serious incidents that may require numerous companies, such as a haz mat incident, a building collapse, or major accidents, that generally do NOT get counted in the Fire Activity numbers.

Once in awhile a major event happens such as was the case of the train derailment in the Bronx several months ago. Sometimes such a major event does get mentioned.

It just seemed to me that the Bronx was a little slower in terms of fires last month.

I believe July was the slowest month so far for 2014 for the Bronx in terms 10-75's and Multiple Alarms (only 33). The total amount of fires and multiples has gone down since January in the Boro.

Jan. 2014 - 51 fires (10-75 or greater) (including 6 multiple alarms)
Feb. 2014 - 46 fires (10-75 or greater) (including 4 multiple alarms)
Mar. 2014 - 49 fires (10-75 or greater) (including 9 multiple alarms)
Apr. 2014 - 35 fires (10-75 or greater)
May 2014 - 35 fires (10-75 or greater)
Jun. 2014 - 36 fires (10-75 or greater) (including 3 multiple alarms)
Jul. 2014 - 33 fires (10-75 or greater) (including 3 multiple alarms)
Aug. 2014 (so far) - 4 fires (10-75 or greater)
