Although not all firefighters here are FDNY Members, there is much that can be learned and practiced from those training tips, whether it be roof operations, operating a hose line, water rescue, etc., etc.

Also, Tom has been a frequent visitor on the monthly NYC Zoom Meetings, including being a guest speaker sharing his knowledge and experience with us.

Today, June 28th we want to wish a very special Nycfire.net member a very Happy Birthday.

His photographs captured the FDNY War Years in TWO BOOKS.

His first book titled: "New York's Bravest - Their Lives on the Line"

His second book titled: "Into the Smoke with New York's Bravest", joining him in that release was Tom Barry.

Let's all wish Mike Dick, aka "mikeindabronx" a very Happy Birthday.

Mike, you are one of our (nycfire.net) "Most Famous Players" with over 28,000 post - so we have this for you.
