From what I remember there were not too many purchased. As stated 46 had one, 40, 325, 260, 297 and a Brooklyn engine company. I know you gents will fill in the rest.

82 had one also.

16 were bought, originally assigned to: E 40,42,46, 82, 159, 204, 209, 216, 217, 220, 235, 260, 278, 297, 298, 325...many were later reassigned, one being Sq 2.

ENGINE 82 foreground...This rig served E 82 for 8 years, including last year when E 82 topped the R&W list. This rig made over 40k runs and then sent to E 249 for another year.
