3/27/26 Bronx 3rd Alarm 10-66 Box 3514

E55's quarters has caught fire, twice no?
Engine 65 had a fire next door in 79-80 my Dad was working that night, another story altogether :p and the firehouse was flooded. They had a kitchen fire in late '80s while company was out, & in early 2010s, less than a month after moving back in after quarters were renovated they had a fire in the basement due to some genius moving the electric panel in basement from the side of firehouse to directly underneath the bay door. There was an opening in the sidewalk. It was raining and it seeped down the hole and fried the panel. E-65 was out on a run, but luckily it was less than an hour before the change of tours, so there were members in quarters and they started smelling smoke.

I can recall a fire on the roof of E 207/ 84 Precinct while workers were spreading tar on the roof. I think that it was 2006 or 7

I remember Engine 33/TL-9 had a fire in the kitchen in the mid1990's. Also, I think Engine 65 had a fire in the Housewatch, when they were out of quarters on a run in the mid. 1990's. Capt. Bob Rainey FDNY Engine 25 retired

37 appeares to be in a spare at the time of the fire.
It appears to be a spare due to the flip numbers on da door but it looks like da Ladder 37 Truck sign on the side of da aerial. Do they now move that sign when in a spare?

Those are the same kind of flippable numbers on the aerial that are seen on the door.

You can even see the color difference through the soot.

Phone Alarm reporting fire in a PD

Box loaded up
All the scanner feeds that allowed playback for the Bronx are down currently. It will be interesting to see how the job was first reported. Someone said it came in as the intersection at first, then as a private dwelling.
